HOW TO ALLEVIATE
CHRONIC PAIN
Chronic pain or intermittent pain, rarely goes away all by itself.
The biggest mistake often made in eliminating your pain is not treating it.
As we age, little injuries or previous pains we have experienced seem to appear and reappear more and more frequently. Unlike an acute injury which would induce immediate action to remedy it, with chronic or intermittent pain, there is a tendency to accept the pain, even as it interrupts your ability to perform.
Unfortunately, de-prioritizing your pain in terms of effort towards alleviating it, does not diminish its existence. As the pain stacks up, the patterns creating, holding, and getting used to having the pain are reinforced, physically, mentally and emotionally, worsening over time.
