Matthew caught the bluegrass bug in 2015 at Delfest and never looked back. He soon took up playing the dobro and plays with several groups in the Baltimore, Maryland area. In addition to playing music he runs his own effect pedal company, noiseKICK FX (www.noisekickfx.com) and has built pedals for top act such as Chris Luquette, JRAD, and Billy Strings.

His passion for health and wellness as it relates to music has brought him on a journey that it still unfolding. The skills learned through Active Potential have helped Matthew manage his time between running his business and his band; keeping mental clarity while maintaining maximum musicianship.
